Priority is given to those families requiring all year round care and full days (8am – 6pm), then to those requiring half day sessions (8.30 am to 12.30pm or 1 to 5pm). The only exception will be sibling links, when the continuation of the older child at nursery is dependent upon the younger sibling gaining a place. Full days (8am to 6pm) and half days (8.30am to 12.30pm or 1 to 5pm) are the only sessions offered by the nursery.
In the event of oversubscription a waiting list will be kept and dealt with in date order using the above criteria. In order to be put on the waiting list parents will have to fill out a Registration form and pay a non-refundable deposit (refer to Fee Information further on).
Please note the minimum booking is two half days or one full day and that after headcount day funded children will not be admitted, that is, funded children are accepted at the start of each funded block.
On a weekly basis, with no additional charge, three specialist teachers come to work with the children, toddlers to 4 years. Between them, they offer additional input for dance, gym skills and music.
To ensure the safety of the children on the premises we operate a locked door policy. For security, entrance can only be gained through a locked door, which may only be opened and closed by a member of staff.
We provide morning , afternoon or full day sessions. The price is inclusive of all meals and specialist activities such as gym skills, dance and music lessons. Please contact us and we would be happy to discuss our range of fees.

The government provide a grant, Early Years Education Funding, which is available the term after a child’s third birthday. The grant is available for 51 weeks of the year (the nursery is closed Christmas week) and covers up to 11 hours per week of nursery care. Please ask to view our Early Education Funding sheet which provides more specific detail on accessing funding.
We regret that no reduction in fees can be made in the event of absence either for illness or holiday. Our preferred method of payment is by standing order or via online banking.
A non-refundable registration fee of £55 is payable at the time of enrolment. This includes up to three introductory sessions and an Angels Nursery kit bag. If a child is withdrawn once a place has been allocated, one month’s notice is required, that is, please notify us one month before your child is due to start.
One month’s written notice is required should you wish to terminate your child’s attendance. Similarly, the nursery school may give one month’s written notice requiring the removal of a child from the nursery.
Uniform is strongly encouraged for children aged 2 to 4 years and consists of jogging bottoms and a sweatshirt top. In hot weather we suggest the jogging bottoms are replaced with shorts and a T-shirt is worn. All of these items printed with the Angels logo are available from the nursery but we are quite happy for you to purchase from any other outlet.
- Jogging suits
- Nursery T-shirt
The important point is that this clothing enables the children to have the freedom of movement needed for some of their activities. The Angel print uniform also encourages a sense of belonging and prepares them for wearing uniform at school.
All clothing must be clearly marked with the child’s name and a spare set of clothes provided in their named kit bag. Any soiled clothing will be rinsed and placed in a plastic bag and returned upon collection of your child.
